Mr. Rajesh Bansal, Advocate, for the petitioner. Paramjeet Singh, J. (Oral) Instant writ petition under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India has been filed for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to shift the vote of the petitioner and his family members from village Karoran, Tehsil Kharar, District Mohali to the Municipal Committee area of Shivalik Vihar, Naya Gaon, Tehsil Kharar District Mohali.

Heard.

Learned counsel for the petitioner does not press the petition on merits, however, confines his prayer that concerned authority be directed to decide Annexures P-4 and P-5 in accordance with law.
