Present petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution, inter alia, for directing the respondents to select / appoint the petitioner for the post of Up-Vaidya on the basis of merit under Scheduled Caste Category being higher in merit against Advertisement at P-3, as the respondent-Department had not considered Scheduled Caste candidates in General Category as per their merit though they having secured more marks than the General Category candidates.

Learned State Counsel has produced a copy of order dated 14.09.2022 (in Punjabi) passed by Director Ayurveda, Punjab, which is taken on record as Mark-'X'.

In view of the above, learned counsel for petitioner submits that main grievance of petitioner has been redressed and as such, petition be disposed off. However, she further submits that petitioner be granted liberty DINESH KUMAR 2022.09.16 17:26 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document

CWP No. 28060 of 2013 (O&M) -2to raise her claim regarding the ancillary reliefs for which she would have been entitled in case of her appointment at appropriate time with other similarly situated candidates.
