(Oral) Status report dated 13.02.2024 by way of affidavit of Sh. Jasbir Singh, PPS, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Sub Division Gidderbaha, District Sri Muktsar filed by the State counsel reads as under : "9. That on the direction of this Hon'ble High Court vide order dated 11.08.2023 passed in the present petition, the bills produced by applicant Harpreet Kaur now petitioner has been verified by Incharge, Police Post Doda of Police Station Kotbhai. During the course of verification, statement of Alok Aggarwal son of Amarjit Gupta, resident of Street No.4, Ishwar Nagar, Near Nanaksar Gurudwara, Devigarh Road, Patiala owner of M/s Om Jewellers, AC Market, Adalat Bazar, Patiala was recorded regarding issuance of slips.
10. That Gurmeet Singh son of Pritam Singh son of Kundan Singh, resident of Lal Singh Basti, Bathinda, owner of Modern Jewellers, Sadhbhawna Chowk, Post Office Bazar, Bathinda stated that he issued bill dated 21.12.2021 for Rs.73,453/- on the name of Harpreet Kaur and the second bill dated 26.05.2021 for Rs.97,400/- was
issued on the name of Amarjit Kaur by him.
11. That Raj Kumar son of Balvir Singh son of Sohan Lal, resident of Street no.8, Goneana Road, Sri Muktsar Sahib is running the business of Tent and Flower Decoration at Sri Muktsar Sahib for the last about 4 years and he stated that he issued bill for Rs.2,30,000/- against the Tent charges and Rs.75,000/- against the Flower decoration on the name of Darshan Singh, resident of village Kauni on 28.05.2021 respectively.
12. That Pawandeep Kaur daughter of Narinder Singh son of Balvir Singh, resident of Partap Nagar, Bathinda is working on the reception of Kings Cliff, Hotel at Sri Muktsar Sahib. Bill dated 21.03.2021 for Rs.34,650/- was issued on the name of Lovedeep Singh by the above Hotel.

That Pawan Kumar son of Sachdev son of Budh Ram, resident of Tibbi Sahib Road, Kaur Chand Street, Sri Muktsar Sahib is running business on the name and Style of Balaji Handlooms at Sri Muktsar Sahib. He issued bill dated 12.06.2021 for Rs.23,800/- against the sale of mattress, bill dated 24.05.2021 for Rs.18,000/- was also issued by him.
14. That Akanksha daughter of Gopal son of Ram Singh, resident of house no.1732, Leela Bhawan, Patiala and is working on Hair Masters, Luxury Saloon at D-1732, Leela Bhawan Chowk, Patiala and bill for Rs.30,000/- was issued by their office on the name of Harpreet.
15. That Amritpal Singh son of Sukhmander Singh, resident of village 20 Rupana, working on Lakme Saloon, Kotkapura Road, Sri Muktsar Sahib verified bill no.ASM22638 dated 25.02.2021 for Rs.6891/- and bill no.ASM22160 dated 21.03.2021 for Rs.13,000/- issued on the name of Harpreet Kaur.
16. That the bank transactions have also been verified by Bank of India, Branch village Bhullar, District Sri Muktsar Sahib that the same were made by their customer Amarjit
Kaur wife of Darshan Singh, mother of the petitioner and Lovedeep Singh son of Darshan Singh, brother of the petitioner and Darshan Singh son of Amar Singh, father of petitioner respectively, all residents of village Kauni.

That SI Iqbal Singh, Incharge, Police Post Doda found that the bills and the proofs regarding the bank transactions submitted by Harpreet Kaur are found genuine as the same were verified by the owners of the business establishments and the bank officials. SI Iqbal Singh submitted his verification report dated 19.01.2024 to SHO, Police Station Kotbhai. Inspector Jasvir Singh, SHO, Police Station Kotbhai also attested the said report vide his report no.1285A dated 19.01.2024. The said report was further verified by the deponent also."
Learned State counsel submits that action, in accordance with law, shall be undertaken.
Having perused the above said status report, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission to withdraw the present petition at this stage with liberty to avail remedy(s) available in accordance with law. Permission is granted. The present petition is dismissed as withdrawn with liberty as aforesaid.
