(Oral) This petition has been filed, inter alia, to fix the petitioners' pay at par with that of their juniors by removing the anomaly. 2.

Learned State counsel has referred to the written statement filed on behalf of respondent no.4 to contend that case of all the petitioners to re-fix pay at par with that of their juniors was considered. It was found that only petitioner no.1 was entitled to re-fixation of pay, as only she was drawing lesser pay. Her pay has accordingly been stepped up. Since the remaining petitioners were getting more pay than that of their juniors, they were not found entitled to the relief claimed.

Learned counsel for the petitioners does not dispute the facts aforestated.
