NIDHI GUPTA J. (Oral) Prayer in this petition is for getting the investigation in FIR No.279 dated 04.5.2023, under Sections 323, 406, 498-A and 506 IPC, registered at Police Station Shahabad, District Kurukshetra in a fair and just manner from some senior IPC officer not below the rank of Superintendent of Police, preferably posted outside Kurukshetra. Reply by way of affidavit of Randhir Singh, HPS, Deputy Superintendent of Police Shahabad (M), Kurukshetra, on behalf of respondent No.1-State has been filed in Court today, which is taken on record, subject to all just exceptions. Copy of the same is handed over to learned counsel for the petitioner. Learned State counsel refers to para 4 of preliminary submissions of the reply and submits that there were seven accused in the present case, out of whom, one accused, namely, Ravinder Gupta VIJAY ASIJA 2023.10.07 13:18 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

2023:PHHC:129935 CRM-M-35579-2023 has expired. He submits that the challan has been presented against the petitioner and other five accused persons before the learned trial Court on 31.7.2023. However, the charges are yet to be framed and the next date fixed before the learned trial Court is 06.3.2024. Learned counsel for the petitioner does not dispute the above said facts.

In view of the aforesaid development, as investigation stands completed, no further direction is required in the present petition.

Resultantly, the same stands disposed of.
