(Oral) The prayer in the present petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India is for issuance of directions to the official respondents, especially respondents No.2 and 3 to protect the life and liberty of the petitioners from the hands of private respondents as well as their relatives. !

% The relevant extract of the enquiry report (Annexure R-6/T) filed with the reply is reproduced here-in-below :- "From the inquiry, it has been found that the date of birth of said girl Manjot (petitioner No.2) is 14.08.2007,
according to which she is a minor, Manjot as per her wish went away from the house, who met to Hardeep Kaur wife of Nirmal Singh resident of Bhatiwal Kalan at Samana on the pavement of the canal, to whom Hardep Kaur brought with her. During the inquiry nothing has come to the light regarding the allegations raised by the petitioner Hardeep Kaur and Manjot that her family members wanted to marry Manjot Kaur with a person of the age of 20 years more than her age and nor any fact regarding the apprehension of any danger by Manjot Kaur at the hands of family members. Apart from this keeping in view the security of life and liberty of Manjot, who was produced on dated 23.07.
2024 before the Child Welfare Committee, Sangrur and after the counselling made by them with Manjot, she was ordered to be admitted at Children Home, Gandhi Vanita Ashram, Kapurthala Road, Jallandhar. Upon which Manjot was got admitted to Children Home, Gandhi Vania Ashram, Kapurthala Road, Jallandhar on 23.07.2024. No truth was found in the allegations made by the petitiones in paragraph number 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 and 11 of the petition, because as per the allegations made, no incident was ever happened, but the petitioner has levelled such allegations by making up a concocted story to get some undue benefit and nothing else. Therefore, no further action is required to be taken regarding the representation (Annexure P-1).
CRWP-6681-2024 -3submitted by SHO, P.S. Bhawanigarh, it is recommended that the representation Annexure P-1 should be consigned to the record.

As per the aforementioned report of the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Sub Division, Bhiwanigarh, District Sangrur no truth has been found in the allegations levelled by the petitioners.
