It is contended that petitioner is entitled to the benefits claimed in terms of decision dated 22.05.2015 in CWP No.14433 of 2011 (Gurmail Singh v. State of Punjab and others), Annexure P15. Despite legal notice dated 26.08.2015, Annexure P16 served upon the respondents, no action is being taken. At this stage, it is prayed that respondents be directed to decide the petitioner's claim in a time bound manner.

Keeping in view the limited prayer, facts and circumstances of the case but without expressing any opinion on the merits of the controversy, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the competent authority to OMKAR SINGH 2015.12.01 10:28 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document Chandigarh
