It has been brought to the notice of this court that notification for holding election to municipal bodies has already been issued and election to 129 municipalities are to be held on 25.2.2015. This court would normally not interfere in the election process. Under the circumstances, counsel for the petitioner submits that he may be allowed to withdraw this writ petition with liberty to avail appropriate remedy after election process is over.
