In this writ petition filed under Articles 226 and 227 of the Constitution of India, the petitioner has prayed for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus for directing respondents No.1 to 3 to initiate appropriate action in accordance with law in the Ref. No.P&1R/Vig./10066 dated 15.11.2009 against the erring officials involved in the scam as took place in the office of respondent No.4.

After arguing for some time, when it was observed by the Bench that petition is totally frivolous and bereft of any material, learned counsel for the petitioner prayed that he may be allowed to withdraw the present writ petition.
