The instant petition has been filed for issuance of direction to respondents No. 2 and 3 to protect the life and liberty of the petitioners from the hands of private respondents.

Learned counsel for the petitioner at the outset submits that he would be satisfied if a direction is issued to respondent No.2 for taking a decision on the representation dated 19.10.2020 (Annexure P2) submitted by the petitioner.
