VINOD S. BHARDWAJ, J (ORAL) Seeking quashing of the Impugned order dated 07.05.2026 passed by the Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Tarn Taran, in case FIR bearing No.12 dated 29.01.2024, under Section 61 of the Punjab Excise Act 1914, registered at Police Station Sadar Tarn Taran, District Tarn Taran, whereby proclamation proceedings have been initiated against the petitioner, the present petition has been filed.

It is evident that the proclamation has not been made so far and thus the present petition is pre-mature at this stage. Faced with the above, counsel for the petitioner seeks withdrawal of the present petition at this stage with liberty to take recourse to his remedies and to appear before the trial Court and furnish bail bonds, if so advised.

Disposed of as withdrawn with liberties as aforesaid. May 27, 2026.
