% &'( In brief, the case set up by the petitioners is that there exists a new grain market in Malerkotla, wherein a land measuring 252 feet 6 inches x 151 feet was left for Cart stand/Gadda stand, which is now sought to be utilized for setting up a Farhi market. The petitioners purport to have even served the respondents with legal notice dated 19.07.2018 (Annexure P85), which has not been responded.

Having argued the matter at some length, learned counsel for the petitioners submits that let this petition be disposed of only with a direction to the respondents' authorities to consider and decide the notice (Annexure P85) within a specified time.

That being so, the petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents to consider and deal with the notice dated 19.07.2018 (Annexure P85), that is alleged to have been served by the petitioners and pass appropriate orders within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order.
