RAJESH BHARDWAJ, J. (ORAL) Matter has been taken up through video conferencing via Webex facility in the light of the Pandemic Covid-19 situation and as per instructions.

The prayer in the present petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India is for issuance of direction for protecting the life, liberty and property of the petitioners at the hands of the respondents as respondent Nos.3 and 4 are calling the petitioners time and again through mobile numbers and respondent No.4 has also issued a notice under Section 160 Cr.P.C. to pressurize the petitioners to come to the police station. Issue notice of motion.

On the asking of the Court, Mr.M.S.Nagra, Assistant Advocate General, Punjab, accepts notice on behalf of the official respondents. Learned counsel for the petitioners states that the petitioners would be satisfied if their representation, dated 23.09.2021, Annexure P-4, is decided expeditiously.
