Present:

Mr. Lalit Singla, Advocate with Ms. Varsha Sharma, Advocate for the petitioner. Ms. Ambika Bedi, AAG, Punjab.

Mr. Amit Jain, Senior Advocate with Mr. Varun Parkash, Advocate for respondents No. 2 and 3.         5*55).  Learned counsel for the petitioner and respondents No. 2 and 3 submit that the matter has been amicably resolved between the parties. Compromise deed dated 18.07.2022 has been executed between the parties. Affidavit dated 18.07.2022 of respondent - Navtej Singh in this respect has been filed in Court.

Compromise deed dated 18.07.2022 as well as affidavit dated 18.07.2022 are taken on record subject to just exceptions. Petitioner - Surinder Pal Singh, respondent No. 2- Navtej Singh as well as Opvinder Singh, another son of the petitioner, who is a party to the compromise deed are present in Court today. They are duly identified by their counsel. It is submitted that the matter has been duly compromised as per the RITU SHARMA 2022.07.25 10:38 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

         terms and conditions mentioned in compromise deed dated 18.07.2022. It is further submitted by respondent No. 2 that cheque dated 16.07.2022 for a sum of Rs.4,50,000/- to be handed over to the petitioner, is in custody of Sh. Gurmohan Singh, Advocate, who represents the petitioner at Courts at Jalandhar. It is agreed that the said cheque would be handed over to the petitioner on withdrawal of the present writ petition. Same is verified by the petitioner and Opvinder Singh present in Court. Photocopy of cheque dated 16.07.2022 is also taken on record subject to just exceptions. It is submitted that parties shall abide by the terms and conditions of compromise dated 18.07.2022 in letter and spirit. In view of the said compromise, petitioner seeks to withdraw this petition.
