Dated Police Station Sections 05.05.2023 Anti Corruption Bureau, Haryana, Police Station ACB, Karnal 7 of Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988 (Section 13(1)(B), 13(2) of Prevention of Corruption Act, and section 389 IPC added later on) 1.

The petitioner incarcerated arrest in the FIR captioned above, had come up before this Court under Section 439 CrPC seeking regular bail. 2.

The allegations against the petitioner are that he demanded Rs. 20,000/- from the complainant for release of his motorcycle taken away by him under the pretext of involvement in crime and also threaten to implicate him in a criminal case in case of non-payment. Complainant paid Rs. 6000/- in two installments to the petitioner and later on reported the matter to Anti Corruption Bureau and petitioner was apprehended red handed while accepting bribe of Rs. 10,000/- from the complainant. 3.

Petitioner's counsel submits that interim bail was granted to petitioner vide order dated 12.09.2023 subject to compliance of certain conditions. He further submits that the petitioner has voluntarily complied with the order dated 12.09.2023 and handed over affidavit to the State counsel.

Counsel for the State has not opposed the contention of petition's counsel. 5.
