Seeking quashing of multiple inquiries initiated by the investigating agency vide impugned order dated 15.04.2025 vide letter No.2463-67/Crime NV-3 (P-3), petitioner has come up before this Court by filing the present petition under Section 528 BNSS 2023.

Notices are served upon the official respondents through the State's counsel. 3.

Counsel on behalf of respondents No.6 & 7 and 16 put in appearance and memo of appearance on behalf of respondents No.6 & 7 is taken on record. 4.

After arguing for some time, counsel for the petitioner submits that he be permitted to withdraw the present petition with liberty to file a fresh representation ANJU RANI 2025.05.29 14:32 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document Punjab and Haryana High Court Chandigarh

CRM-M-30450-2025 before the Director General of Police, Punjab and he would be contended and satisfied if direction is issued to DGP to decide the same in time bound manner. 5.

Counsel appearing for respondents No.6 & 7 and 16, have no objection if the above prayer is accepted.

Given above, present petition is disposed of as withdrawn with liberty to file a fresh representation before the Director General of Police, Punjab by 05.06.2025. If the petitioner files a precise representation within the above-mentioned time period, then, the same shall be decided by the concerned Director General of Police, by 27.06.2025 positively, either himself/herself or by authorizing and delegating it to any officer of IPS Cadre. It is clarified that order so passed must be a reasoned order, and the same be communicated to the representationists as well as his counsel, without any delay on their e-mail mentioned on the representation. Liberty reserved to the petitioner to file fresh petition or to take other legal remedies in accordance with the law. All pending applications, if any, stand disposed.
