AT CHANDIGARH CWP No.18743 of 2018 Date of decision:13.08.2019 Santosh Nain ... Petitioner Vs.
State of Haryana and others ... Respondents
CORAM:
HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE AMIT RAWAL Present:- None.
AMIT RAWAL J. (Oral) Petitioner has sought indulgence of this Court under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a writ in the nature of certiorari for quashing the impugned order dated 18.07.2018 (Annexure P-6) whereby promotion order to the post of Women and Child Development Project Officer (Group B Gazetted), has been passed. Claim in writ petition is that various writ petitions including writ petition of the petitioner bearing No.15428 of 2013 for counting the service period rendered on ad-hoc basis is pending adjudication in this Court and therefore, assigning seniority is totally erroneous but on the website of this Court, it is found that all the writ petitions including one of petitioner have been dismissed vide common order dated 01.08.2018 and LPA No.690 of 2019 preferred against the aforementioned order, has also been dismissed vide order dated 20.05.2019.

CWP No.18743 of 2018 {2} In such circumstances, petitioner possibly cannot challenge the promotion order dated 18.07.2018 assigning the seniority, for, ad-hoc period has not been counted.
In view of above, I do not find any merit in writ petition. Accordingly, writ petition is dismissed.
