(ORAL) Prayer in the writ petition is for quashing the action of respondent No.2 in promoting the persons junior to petitioners from the post of Sanskrit Teachers (now TGT Sanskrit) to the post of Elementary School Headmasters vide order dated 01.12.2016 (Annexure P-4) and further to direct respondent No.2 to promote petitioners to the post of Elementary School Headmasters over and above their counterparts with all consequential benefits.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that petitioners will be satisfied if a direction is issued to the 2nd respondent-Director, Elementary Education, Haryana, Shiksha Sadan, Sector 5, Panchkula to consider the representation dated 06.02.2017 (Annexure P-7) within a stipulated period.

Without going into the merits and demerits of the claim of the petitioners, I deem it appropriate to direct 2nd respondent-Director, Elementary Education, Haryana, Shiksha Sadan, Sector 5, Panchkula to consider the representation dated 06.02.2017 (Annexure P-7) within a period of two months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order and shall pass a speaking order thereon, failing which respondent No.2 shall PANKAJ KUMAR 2019.10.23 10:35 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

CWP No.20894 of 2019 (O&M) -2be liable to pay costs of `25,000/- to the petitioners. This condition of imposing costs is only to prevent petitioners to run from pillar to post and avail remedy of contempt in case of non-compliance of directions issued by this Court.
