Mr. Rajesh Punj, Advocate, for the petitioners.

G.S.SANDHAWALIA, J. (Oral) The petitioners seek the grant of pay scale of `1800-3200 as well as and fixed local travelling allowance. The relief claimed is on the basis of the decision of this Court in CWP No. 13330 of 1994, Darshan Singh vs. State of Punjab wherein, the benefit was given to employees who were working as Surveyors in the Irrigation Department at par with the Surveyors in the Soil Conservation Department w.e.f. 14.10.1993 regarding the pay scale and the local travelling allowance w.e.f. 01.10.1992. Counsel for the petitioners submits that a legal notice has been served upon the respondents on 20.10.2015 (Annexure P-15) for the said relief but the same is pending consideration and he would be satisfied if a time bound decision is taken on the same.
