Present writ petition is for issuance of directions and quashing the process of inviting tender for the post of drivers on monthly contract basis for Indian Institute of Management, Amritsar campus vide letter dated 24.06.2018 and Government e-Publishing System dated 09.07.2018 (Annexure P7, collectively).

Petitioner was appointed as Multi Skill staff on contract basis for a period of one year, but he had undergone the process of interview after publication of the notice in the newspaper and his appointment was perfectly in legal manner. For this purpose, representation dated 20.01.2018 (Annexure P8), made by the petitioner, remained undecided. Now the respondents are going to appoint some persons in his place through outsourcing agency, which is contrary to the policy of the Government. Notice of motion.
