On 21.07.2023, the following order was passed: "The petitioner through instant petition under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India is seeking quashing of show cause notice dated 23.05.2023 (Annexure P-8) issued by respondent No.2 Mr. Arvind Seth, Advocate, who on advance notice is present in Court for the respondents, while not disputing the fact that case of the petitioner is covered by instruction dated 10.10.2019 issued by Central Government, submits that petitioner has enclosed show cause notice wherein petitioner has been asked to show cause as to why her passport be not impounded, however, there is nothing on record showing whether impounding order has been passed or not.

Mr. Seth, Advocate, submits that the passport authority has already passed order impounding passport, thus, the petitioner has remedy to file appeal.

On being confronted with aforesaid fact, Mr. Gautam, Advocate submits that the petitioner has never been served with copy of order impounding passport, thus, he may be supplied copy of order so that he may avail remedies as permissible by law.

Mr. Seth, Advocate, assures the Court that within three days, copy of the order shall be handed over to Mr. Gautam, Advocate of the petitioner or petitioner herself.

In view of aforesaid development, the present petition stands disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to avail remedies as permissible by law.
