Tribhuvan Dahiya, J (Oral) The petition has been filed seeking a writ of mandamus directing respondent No.2 to appoint the petitioner on the post of TGT (Science) in response to Advertisement No.2 of 2023 in BCB Category, and call him for scrutiny of documents as he has scored higher marks than those of the last selected candidate.

Learned counsel State counsel has produced petitioner's result. It shows that he scored 47.05 marks in the written examination, and cut-off marks for candidates to be called for scrutiny of documents were 48.45. Therefore, the petitioner was rightly not called for scrutiny of documents, as he could not make the mark.
