ASHOK KUMAR VERMA, J. (ORAL) The petitioner has preferred the present revision against the impugned orders dated 12.05.2022 passed by the learned Sessions Judge, Jhajjar and order dated 18.04.2022, passed by the learned Principal Magistrate, Juvenile Justice Board, Jhajjar, whereby an appeal and application filed for releasing petitioner-Tushar, on bail was dismissed. Status report dated 03.12.2022, by way of affidavit of Sh. Amit Yashvardhan, Additional Superintendent of Police, Badli, has been filed in the Registry, which is taken on record. According to the status report, after completion of investigation, challan report under Section 173 Cr.P.C. was filed before the Illaqa Magistrate on 14.12.2019 against the petitioner.

The petitioner was declared juvenile and enquiry of the petitioner is pending before the Principal Magistrate, Juvenile Justice Board, Jhajjar. Supplementary challan was filed before the Juvenile Court on 21.03.2022 and out of total 23 prosecution witnesses, 13 have already been examined. RISHU KATARIA 2022.12.

CRR-1736-2022 (O&M) -2Faced with this situation, learned Counsel for the petitioner restricts his prayer to the extent of issuing directions to the Juvenile Court to expedite the trial and he may be permitted to withdraw the instant revision, at this stage.

In view of the above statement made by learned counsel for the petitioner, the present revision petition is dismissed as withdrawn, at this stage.

However, keeping in view the facts and circumstances of the case and also the fact that out of total 23 prosecution witnesses, 13 have already been examined, the trial Court is directed to conclude the trial expeditiously preferably within a period of 06 months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

Compliance report along with copy of judgment be submitted to this Court.
