***** ARCHANA PURI, J. (ORAL) At this stage, the counsel for the respondent submits that amicable settlement has reached between the applicant, as well as the respondent and now both of them are residing together in the matrimonial house.

Though the counsel for the applicant was not aware of the aforesaid fact, but however, after verifying from the applicant, he submits that it is actually true, but the same is a stopgap arrangement. In view of the amicable settlement reached between the parties, the counsel for the respondent has given an undertaking that though, the next date fixed in the divorce petition, before learned Family Court is 17.09.2025, but however, within a period of 10 days, the respondent shall file an application, for seeking withdrawal of the divorce petition. In view of the undertaking so given, the respondent is hereby Sonu 2025.07.29 16:43 I agree to specified portions of this document P&HHC

TA-819-2024 directed to file an application for withdrawal of the divorce petition, within a period of ten days from today onwards. On receipt of the said application, the Court concerned shall pass an appropriate order, with regard to withdrawal, on the basis of the compromise reached between the parties. In view of the aforesaid undertaking given by the counsel for the respondent and also keeping in view the order passed by this Court, the counsel for the applicant submits that he does not want to pursue with the present transfer application and the same be dismissed as withdrawn. Ordered accordingly.

However, the respondent shall remain bound by the statement given by his counsel.
