The petitioner is an elected Sarpanch of the Gram Panchayat, village Mandiala, Tehsil and District Amritsar. 2.

Through this writ petition, the petitioner prays for an issuance of a writ in the nature of certiorari to quash the notice dated 09.09.2021 appointing the Administrator.

The learned counsel representing the petitioner does not dispute the presence/availability of the efficacious remedy for the petitioner under Section 201 of the Punjab Panchayati Raj Act, 1994. 4.

Keeping in view the aforesaid facts, the present writ petition is disposed of by relegating the petitioner to the alternative remedy in accordance with law.
