Present writ petition for issuance of direction to the the respondents to consider the case of petitioner for appointment to the post of Auditor on compassionate grounds as his mother died; he is her only legal representative and his father has also died.

Learned counsel for the petitioner contended that petitioner is otherwise eligible for appointment to the post of Auditor and his name was being considered, but no final order has been passed in this regard. Learned counsel further contended that legal notice dated 20.04.2018 (Annexure P4) was also issued to respondent No.2 at the instance of petitioner, but the same remained undecided.
