Petitioners have sought directions to respondents no. 1 to 4 to look into the dispute regarding Gurdwara, Thatha Nawan. It has been urged before the court that dispute has been pending for considerable period. However, authorities have not seriously looked into the same. Possibility of amicable settlement between two factions could also have been explored. At the outset, learned State counsel submits that matter shall be examined by the Deputy Commissioner, Kapurthala and necessary steps shall be taken, if circumstances so warrant.
