(ORAL ) Prayer in the present petition moved under Section 439 Cr.P.C. is for the grant of regular bail in FIR No.89 dated 6.7.2018, under Sections 363, 366-A, 376-D and 506 IPC, as well as under Section 6 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POSCO) Act, registered at Police Station, Kathgarh, District S.B.S. Nagar. Learned State counsel, on instructions of ASI Hans Raj, states that in the case in hand, the prosecution has cited 21 witnesses and RAJ KUMAR ARORA 2019.08.22 17:45 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

CRM-M-31585-2019 out of which 15 witnesses have already been examined. 5 PWs have been given up. In this manner, only one witness remains to be examined and the case is fixed for today itself i.e. August 21, 2019. Faced with this situation, counsel for the petitioner does not press the present petition for regular bail, at this stage. However, he prays for time bound direction to the prosecution to conclude the evidence in the case.

Dismissed as not pressed, at this stage. However, trial Court shall make an endeavour to examine the left over PW on the next date fixed in the case.
