This petition has been filed for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing respondent No.2 to issue appointment letter to the petitioner for the post of Clerk.

There was no representation on behalf of the petitioner on the last two dates of hearing i.e. 25.08.2023 and 02.09.2022. The position remains the same even today, despite the case having been called out twice. 3.

It appears that the petitioner has lost interest in pursuing the present case.

Dismissed for non-prosecution.
