Petition herein is for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to reconsider the candidature of the petitioner in view of letter No.1/20/2013-IGS-II dated 30.05.2014 (Annexure P-2) and policy instructions bearing No.5/07/2017-GS-II dated 28.09.2018 (Annexure P-3).

On advance service of copy of the petition, learned State counsel appears and submits that case of the petitioner has already been considered by the administrative competent authority, pursuant to her representation and the same was rejected vide letter dated 17.12.2020.
