In this writ petition filed under Articles 226 and 227 of the Constitution of India, the petitioner has prayed for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus for directing the respondents to transfer its assessment cases for assessment year 2015-16 onwards to principal place of business of the petitioner at New Delhi from Bathinda.

Learned counsel for the respondents-Revenue states that as per Annexure R-5, he has been instructed by the department that case of the assessee-petitioner shall be transferred to New Delhi after completion of the assessment proceedings for the assessment year 2015-16 based on survey. 3.
