*** Present: Mr.Amit Kohar, Advocate, for the petitioners. -.- Surya Kant, J . (Oral) The grievance of the petitioners is against the alleged nonpayment of compensation amount as per the Award passed in their favour. It is alleged that despite initiation of execution proceedings, no amount has been paid. In fact the Executing Court has been informed that compensation amount has not been deposited.

If that is so, we are sure that the Executing Court is fully aware of its powers. It can take multiple lawful coercive steps to recover the due amount of compensation in accordance with law. We thus dispose of this writ petition observing that the Executing Court shall take necessary steps to do the needful as early as possible and preferably within a period of three months from the date of receiving a certified copy of this order, provided that the petitioners have filed execution application. Ordered accordingly.
