SURYA KANT, J.(ORAL) Land of the petitioner measuring 07 marlas comprised in Khasra No.13//20/2/4 situated within the revenue estate of village Patti Taraf Afgan, Panipat, was acquired by State of Haryana vide Award No.9, dated 20.09.1985. The petitioner claims that as a result of such acquisition, he is entitled to allotment of 04 marla plot under the 'Oustees Policy' in Sector 12, urban Estate, Panipat. It is further averred that the Estate Officer, Panipat had in fact passed an order on 11.12.2002 for allotment of a plot to the petitioner. In this regard reliance is placed on the letter dated 02.08.2006 sent by the Estate Officer, HUDA, Panipat to the Chief Administrator, HUDA, Panchkula for necessary action. It further appears that no allotment has been made to the petitioner, though he deposited the earnest money of `17,350/- on 18.

08.2006. Since then the claim of the petitioner is stated to be pending consideration. The petitioner served the authorities with two legal notices, i.e. one on 02.08.2010 and second on 02.06.2018 (Annexures MEENU 2018.08.

CWP-18973-2018 -2P-3 and P-4) respectively. Finding no response thereto, the instant writ petition has been filed.

[2] Having heard learned counsel for the petitioner but without expressing any views on merits of his claim, however, keeping in view the plea that petitioner's claim is pending for the last 12 years or so, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent Nos.2 and 3 to decide the above-mentioned claim of the petitioner by way of a reasoned order within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order.
