Present writ petition is challenge to the impugned notice dated 10.05.2018 (Annexure P10), whereby the petitioner has been asked to deposit a sum of Rs.3,57,265/-.

Learned counsel for the petitioner contended that petitioner is Sarpanch of Gram Panchayat of Village Rampur, Tehsil Batala, Block Qadian, District Gurdaspur and with the change of Government, he is being victimized without any reason.

As the present writ petition is against issuance of notice dated 10.05.2018 (Annexure P10), let petitioner respond to the said notice and if not needed, some final order be passed thereon. Petitioner shall be at liberty to approach this Court for seeking remedy as per law. With the observations made above, present writ petition stands disposed of.
