RAMENDRA JAIN, J. (ORAL) Through this petition under Section 438 Cr.P.C. prayer has been made for grant of anticipatory bail to petitioner in case FIR No.37 dated 17.03.2019 registered under Sections 61, 78 of the Excise Act, 1914, Section 420 IPC and Sections 177, 181, 192 of the Motor Vehicles Act, at Police Station Goraya, Jalandhar.

According to the prosecution, 10,000 litres of illicit liquor was recovered from the truck owned by brother of the petitioner. Allegation against the petitioner is that he is the mastermind behind smuggling of this illicit liquor.

Considering heavy recovery of illicit liquor, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Dismissed.
