Mr. Vikrant Hooda, Advocate for the petitioners. RAKESH KUMAR JAIN, J (ORAL) The petitioners are the owners of the property in question, which were once acquired, in terms of Section 4 of the Land Acquisition Act, 1894 (for short "the Act") and the entry of ownership is made in favour of HUDA in the revenue records. However, subsequently the said acquisition was quashed upto Hon'ble Supreme Court, therefore, HUDA has nothing to do with the land of the petitioners. Thus, prayer was made to direct the respondents to sanction mutation in favour of the petitioners.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that so far they have not made any application to the Halqa Patwari in terms of Section 34 of the Punjab Land Revenue Act, 1887 for making necessary entry of their right in respect of the property in dispute after quashing of the Notification, issued under Section 4 of the Act. He, thus prays for permission to withdraw this petition in order to file appropriate applications in accordance with law. Dismissed as withdrawn with the aforesaid liberty.
