Present writ petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus, inter-alia, directing the respondents to consider the claim of the petitioner against the post of Science Mistress in pursuance of her selection and appointment vide letter dated 14.12.2016 (P-5).

Learned State counsel has produced copy of order dated 24.10.2018 which indicates that petitioner has been appointed on the post of Science Mistress as such, her grievance has been redressed. Copy of order dated 24.10.2018 is taken on record and marked as 'X'.

The above factual position is not disputed by learned counsel for the petitioner.

Since the grievance of the petitioner has been redressed, therefore, the present writ petition has been rendered infructuous. Ordered accordingly.
