Service is waived, Ms. Sukhmani Patwalia, learned counsel having accepted notice on behalf of the respondents. The petitioner merely seeks an order directing the respondents to comply with the order and judgement of a Division Bench of this Court dated 29.07.2016 in CWP-12482-2016 (Annexure P-3).

The order directed the respondents to expeditiously decide the representation, if made by the petitioner, by a speaking order. A representation was made. No date was fixed for passing the order. However, the same should have been done within a reasonable time.

The petition is, therefore, disposed of by directing the respondents to comply with the order dated 29.07.2016 (Annexure P-3) by 23.10.2017. The petitioner shall appear before respondent No. 1 on 18.09.2017 at 11.00 AM in the first instance and thereafter as directed by respondent No. 1.

The petition be placed on board on 25.10.2017 to ensure compliance.
