None for the petitioner Mr. Swapan Shorey, DAG, Punjab - HARSIMRAN SINGH SETHI, J.(ORAL) On the last date of hearing i.e. 30.09.2024, none had put in appearance on behalf of the petitioner and Registry was directed to inform learned counsel for the petitioner about the date fixed. In the present petition, the grievance of the petitioner is that all the retirement benefits have not been released by the respondents on the ground that the petitioner is facing a criminal case under the provision of Corruption Act,1988 and hence, all the benefits could not be released in favour of the petitioner, but thereafter the said criminal case came to an end, his gratuity has already been released.

Probably the petitioner is satisfied and that is why nobody is appearing on behalf of the petitioner and it can be safely presume that the petitioner does not intend to pursue with the present petition. Dismissed for non-prosecution.
