Prayer in the present petition is for counting the period of service of the petitioner prior to his regularization w.e.f. 1.6.1981 to 31.3.1993 towards pension and other pensionary benefits along with interest.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that for claiming the relief, a legal notice dated 22.4.2013 (Annexure P-3) has been got served on the respondents, however, the same has not been responded to. It is further submitted that for the aforesaid claim, at this stage, the petitioner would be satisfied in case a direction is issued to respondent No.2 to decide the legal notice dated 22.4.2013 (Annexure P-3) got served by him, within specified time.

After hearing learned counsel for the petitioner and without going into the merit of the controversy, the present petition is disposed of at this stage with a direction to respondent No.2 to take a final decision on the legal notice dated 22.4.2013 got served by the petitioner. The needful shall be done within a period of four months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
