(ORAL) Petitioner-tenant has filed this revision against the judgment of Appellate Authority dated 20.05.2019, dismissing his appeal, affirming the order of learned Rent Controller dated 03.05.2017, whereby he was directed to hand over vacant possession of demised shop to respondent-landlord within two months.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he does not challenge the judgment and order of the authorities below on merits, however, seeks four months' time to vacate the demised shop. In view of above request, petitioner is granted four months' time from today to vacate the demised shop subject to deposit of arrears of rent @ `2,000/- per month within a week. In case, petitioner does not vacate the shop within four months from today, he shall pay mesne profits @ `12,000/- per month. Petitioner is directed to file affidavit in this respect before the executing Court within a week from today. In case this order is not complied with by the revisionist in its RAVINDER SINGH 2019.08.26 11:53 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

-2CR-4925 of 2019 (O&M) letter and spirit qua payment of arrears of rent, in that eventuality, executing Court shall proceed with the execution and would take all positive steps to get the demised shop vacated from him.
