Learned State counsel, on instructions from SI Karamjit Singh, Police Station Sadar Dhuri, District Sangrur, has stated that the petitioner, who was accused in case bearing FIR No.175 dated 28.08.2021 registered under Sections 363 and 366-A of IPC at Police Station Sadar Dhuri, District Sangrur, has been acquitted vide judgment dated 23.10.2023 as passed by learned trial Court and as such, the present petition seeking transfer of investigation of the case has been rendered infructuous. In view of the above submission made by learned State counsel, the present petition is dismissed for want of prosecution as well as having been rendered infructuous.
