The only grievance of the petitioners in this petition is that no action has been taken by the respondents on their application dated 16.6.2015 (Annexure P-3) filed under Sections 4 and 5 of the Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act, 2007, which has been received in the office of respondent No.4 on 8.7.2015. To prove the receipt of the application in the office, Learned counsel for the petitioner has referred to the seal of office on the application. It is the case of the petitioners that no proceedings on the application have been initiated by respondent No.4. In view of this limited grievance of the petitioners, this petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.4 to expedite the proceedings on the application (Annexure P-3) filed by the petitioners.
