(Through Video Conferencing.) **** This is claimant's appeal seeking modification of award passed by MACT, Rewari.

On request, the instant matter is taken up in National Lok Adalat, accordingly discussed.

Today, Mr. Nigam Bhardwaj, Advocate appearing with Mr. Rohit Chauhan, representative of respondent No.3- Insurance Company, has offered a sum of Rs.8,00,000/- (Rupees Eight Lacs only) over and above the amount of Rs.4,15,000/- (Rupees Four Lakh Fifteen Thousand only) awarded by the Tribunal, to the appellant being full and final settlement of the claim in this appeal, which has been accepted by Mr. Pardeep Heera, Advocate appearing on behalf of the appellant/claimant. Accordingly, we dispose off this case with a direction to the Insurance Company to deposit a crossed-cheque for Rs.8,00,000/- in the name of the appellant with the office of the Lok Adalat of the High Court within four weeks from today, in compliance of this order, failing which, DEEPAK KUMAR 2022.03.15 13:39 I attest to the accuracy of this document

FAO-5322-2010 (O&M) -2interest @ 9% per annum shall follow on this amount till payment from the date of this order. The concerned Officer of the Lok Adalat Branch/Office shall issue proper receipt after receiving the cheque to learned counsel/ representative of the respondent-Insurance Company. The appellant's counsel/appellant may collect the cheque from the office of the Lok Adalat. Copy of the order be supplied/sent to the counsel/parties and file be returned to the Hon'ble High Court.
