G.S.SANDHAWALIA, J. (Oral) The petitioner seeks the benefit of regularization w.e.f. 23.01.2011 and other consequential benefits as per policy dated 23.01.2001 (Annexure P-2) and orders passed by the Apex Court and this Court as detailed in the head note of the petition.

The pleaded case of the petitioner is that he is working as a Beldar from 1996 onwards in the Forest Department and is liable to be considered for regularization. The respondents have not taken any action on his representation dated 13.08.2015 (Annexure P-14). Counsel for the petitioners submits that for the redressal of his grievances, legal notice has also been served upon respondent nos. 1 and 3 on 21.09.2015 (Annexure P-15) but the same is pending consideration and he would be satisfied if a time bound decision is taken on the same. Notice of motion.

CWP No. 25350 of 2015 Keeping in view the limited relief sought, this Court is of the opinion that there is no need for the respondents to file reply. Accordingly, without commenting on the merits of the case this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent no. 3 to decide the legal notice dated 21.09.2015 (Annexure P-15) within a period of 2 months from the date of receipt of certified copy of the order. Needless to say if the relief is to be denied, a reasoned order be passed and conveyed to the petitioner.
