On 24.07.2023, following order was passed by this Court:- "The petitioner through the instant petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India is seeking direction to respondents to release passport which was seized at Amritsar International Airport on 1.8.2022 while petitioner was leaving country.

Learned counsel for the petitioner inter alia contends that this Court vide order dated 01.12.2021 passed in CRM-M- 50174 of 2021 (Annexure P-8) has stayed proceedings pending before trial court, thus, petitioner in terms of circular dated 14.03.2023 is entitled to passport.

Mr. Ankur Sharma, Senior Panel counsel for Union of India, who on advance notice is present in court, seeks time to get instructions.
