(ORAL) Through this petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. prayer has been made for issuance of direction to hand over investigation in case FIR No.49 dated 04.04.2021 registered under Sections 22 and 29 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985 at Police Station Sadar Batala, District Batala, Gurdaspur, Punjab, to some independent agency.

Learned State counsel submits that in the aforesaid FIR challan has already been presented before the Court of Special Judge, Gurdaspur, on 20.04.2022 and now the case is fixed for 25.08.2022. At this stage, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks withdrawal of this petition with liberty to raise all the pleas before the trial Court including the plea with regard to CCTV footage.
