1. The present petition has been filed for directing the respondents to relese the entire amount of gratuiry and leave encashment along with interest @ 24% per annum as also for quashing the order dated 13.06.2024, passed by respondent No.4 against the petitioner and showing the recovery amount of Rs.37,273/-.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner gives up the second prayer in the present petition and limits it to only for issuance of directions to decide his representation dated 05.07.2024, Annexure P-7, with regard to non-release of the entire amount of gratuity and leave encashment. He thus, at this stage, on instructions from the petitioner, prays that a direction is given to respondent No.4 to decide the same in a time bound manner.

Upon doing so, after notice and hearing offered to him and if found entitled, grant the benefit forthwith. Needless to say, if the orders are adverse to his interest, the same shall contain reasons and the petitioner shall be free to seek legal redress thereupon          !" !
