The petitioners are seeking direction to the respondents to release their pending salary from July 2018 till February 2020 along with interest. 2.

Learned counsel for the petitioners contends that petitioner No.1 is the former President of the Municipal Council while other petitioners are members of the Municipal Council and they have not been paid their salary w.e.f. July 2018 till February 2020. He also submits that the petitioners have sent a legal notice in this regard (Annexure P-1) and prays that the petition may be disposed of with a direction to the respondents to decide the legal notice dated 07.07.2020 (Annexure P1). 3.

Issue notice to the respondents.
