The prayer in the present Civil Writ Petition under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India, is to issue a writ in the nature of mandamus, for directing the respondents to consider the name of the petitioner for the post of Punjabi Mistress in view of the advertisement. 2.

Learned State counsel submits that the Division Bench of this Court vide judgment dated 16.03.2022 in LPA-1233-2016, had upheld the decision rendered in a batch of petitions, with lead case being CWP-22198-2012, decided on 16.02.2016, involving the same issue as in the present case.

Learned counsel for the petitioner having been unable to controvert the aforesaid or cite any contrary law, the present petition is also hereby dismissed.
